What American Roulette plays like

American Roulette runs on the 38-pocket wheel: numbers 1 through 36 plus a single zero and a double zero. We stream the table from established studio providers, so the dealer spins a real wheel while you place chips on our digital felt. House edge sits around 5.26% on most bets, balanced by faster rounds, the five-number basket bet and a layout you

can scan in seconds on either desktop or your phone.

How a round runs on our table

Entering the table

From the lobby, tap American Roulette and you land directly at the live feed. No extra login, no separate balance — the chips you stake pull from the same account you opened with us moments earlier.

Placing your chips

Pick a chip value, tap any number, split line, column or red/black zone. The felt highlights covered pockets in real time, and a repeat button lets you re-stake the previous round with one press.

Betting windows

Each spin opens a short betting window — usually around 15 seconds. A countdown ring shows time left, then the dealer waves no more bets and the wheel decides where your chips land.

Phone-first feel

Portrait mode stacks the wheel, felt and chip row vertically so you never zoom. Landscape gives you the full racetrack. Both modes keep the dealer stream sharp on mid-range Android handsets.

EDITORIAL CLARITY

Why the table is fair

Licensed studio

The American Roulette feed comes from a studio licensed in its home jurisdiction, with the operating certificate visible from the table info panel at any point during play.

Physical wheel

It's a real mechanical wheel and ball, spun by a human dealer on camera. No RNG simulation — what you see on stream is what determines the result.

Round IDs

Every spin carries a unique round identifier you can quote to support. The full history of your stakes and outcomes sits in your account ledger.

Independent testing

The wheel and table software pass periodic checks from independent testing labs covering wheel bias, ball randomness and payout accuracy.

Dealer training

Dealers are trained on American Roulette procedure specifically — call-bet handling, no-more-bets timing and dispute escalation — before they go live on camera.

Audit trail

Bet logs, video archive and payout records are retained so any round can be reconstructed if a question comes up days or weeks later.

American Roulette vs other tables

European Roulette
European has 37 pockets (one zero) and a lower 2.7% house edge. American adds the 00 for faster, more volatile rounds and the unique basket bet.
French Roulette
French shares the single zero with European but adds La Partage, returning half on even-money bets when zero hits. American trades that rule for the 00 pocket.
Lightning Roulette
Lightning is a European-base game show with random multipliers on numbers. American Roulette is the classic format — no multipliers, just the paytable.
Live Baccarat
Baccarat is a two-hand card game with fixed draw rules. American Roulette is open-bet — you choose from dozens of stake types each round.
Live Blackjack
Blackjack is skill-influenced with strategy charts. American Roulette is pure chance once the chips are down, which keeps the pacing simple.
Sic Bo
Sic Bo uses three dice and a grid of combination bets. American Roulette is closer in spirit but with the wheel as the random source.
Auto Roulette
Auto Roulette removes the dealer for a faster automated spin cycle. American Roulette keeps the human dealer pace some prefer.

American Roulette questions

The wheel has 38 pockets instead of 37 — the extra 00 pocket is the headline difference. It changes the house edge to about 5.26% and unlocks the five-number basket bet you won't find on European wheels.

A single-number win pays 35 to 1 on American Roulette, the same as European. The difference is that your odds of hitting are 1 in 38 here rather than 1 in 37, because of the second zero pocket.

Yes. Open the table from our mobile lobby and it loads in your browser — no app install. Portrait mode stacks the wheel and felt for thumb play, landscape opens the racetrack overlay.

It's a real mechanical wheel spun by a live dealer on camera in a licensed studio. You see every spin in real time. No random-number generator decides outcomes on this table.

Even-money outside bets — red/black, odd/even, high/low — lose when the ball lands on 0 or 00. American Roulette doesn't apply the La Partage half-return rule that French Roulette uses.

A full round runs roughly 45 to 60 seconds: about 15 seconds of betting window, the spin itself, then payouts. You can sit out spins and return without leaving the table.

Yes. Martingale, D'Alembert, Fibonacci — the felt accepts any stake pattern within table limits. Just remember the 00 pocket means even-money bets win 18 times out of 38, not 18 out of 37.
